Facilities Maintenance Technician

Tinker Federal Credit Union’s Facilities department has an immediate opening for a Facilities Maintenance Technician! As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the following: general maintenance of TFCU facilities to include electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, and outsourced services. Inspects building systems including fire alarms, HVAC/R, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and maintains proper readiness. Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives related to building operations and work safety. Salary Range: This is a non-exempt position. The starting hourly rate is $24.64-$34.19; however, actual placement within the range will be determined individually based on your experience relative to organizational needs and internal salary equity. Schedule: Normally works a weekday schedule, but may be required to work evenings, holidays, or weekends. May be required to travel overnight with or without notice. Could be subjected to on-call status. Education/Experience: You must have a require the completion of a technical School, trade school/training program and/or of a career tech program. Applicable additional education levels or relevant but not required certifications may be eligible to satisfy minimum experience requirements. A high school diploma or equivalent and four years’ experience relatable to facilities maintenance, construction or in a technical trade such as electrical, HVAC, or plumbing are required. Experience with non-profits and/or financial institutions is preferred. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Incumbent Bonding REQUIRED by TFCU’s chosen authority. Valid driver’s license, maintaining an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record. For FMT applicablecertifications are preferred. Keys to success: In order to be successful as a Facilities Maintenance you must possess these qualifications: Good organizational and time-management skills. Knowledge of commercial property maintenance. Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Ability to use a variety of tools and equipment, including small hand tools, power tools, and metering/testing equipment. Flexibility to travel to branches and property locations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
