Environmental Specialist, II, III, IV

Develop, maintain, and provide guidance on environmental processes and policies Assess environmental risk and provide recommendations to address risk Participate in or run approved environmental risk actions, including required regulatory documentation Participate in environmental project planning and implementation Schedule projects, estimate costs, and prepare environmental impact assessments and reports Provide guidance and mentor others Prepare and submit applications for environmental permits, renewals, approvals, variances, and other authorizations Coordinate with company partners Perform environmental compliance audits and due diligence investigations Identify environmental training needs and provide training Develop, recommend, and implement improvements for air, water, waste management, and/or remediation systems and practices Prepare and submit required compliance reports and certifications Develop and maintain environmental compliance documentation Cultivate relationships between Williams and regulatory agencies Interpret federal, state, and local environmental regulations and ensure compliance Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Bachelor’s degree Minimum eight (8) years’ environmental experience Core Competencies Demonstrates extensive experience in environmental risk assessment, compliance auditing, and project planning, with a strong focus on air, water, and waste management. Proficient in developing environmental policies, preparing compliance documentation, and mentoring team members while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
