Job Description
Schedule & Coverage:

Shift Type: Primarily daytime
Hours: Monday-Friday, approximately 8 AM - 5 PM
Patient Volume: 20 patients/day
Procedures: None - evaluation & management only
Weekend Coverage: Generally not required (weekend rounders already in place)

Call Expectations:

Call: Possible remote call coverage
Call Hours: 5 PM - 8 AM
Nature of Call: Remote only, no onsite requirements
Typical Volume: 30 calls overnight
Call Types: Refills, routine medical questions, general patient management

Provider Need:

Provider Type: MD or DO only
Preferred Experience:
Ideally 1+ year experience
Medical Director experience preferred
Open to strong new grads / recent residency graduates
License Requirement: Florida license preferred or ability to obtain quickly
Board Certification: BC preferred
DEA: Required

Staffing Structure:

Strong APP support model
Typical staffing:
Physician onsite 1 day/week per building
NP/PA coverage 2 additional days/week
Approximate support ratio:
1:1 to 1:1.5 physician-to-APP support
Providers rotate through facilities but maintain consistent building assignments weekly
