Join a collaborative finance team and help drive financial compliance, reporting accuracy, audit readiness, and process improvement within a complex organization.Location: Seattle, HybridSalary: $110,000 – $135,000 DOEWhy This Opportunity Stands Out:Competitive salary with the opportunity to make an immediate impact in a key accounting leadership role • High level of exposure to senior finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders • Opportunity to lead critical accounting, auditing, and compliance initiatives • Stable, full-time position with broad responsibility across financial reporting and operations • Ability to influence internal controls, process improvements, and reporting efficiencies • Exposure to financial systems enhancements and technology-driven initiatives, including AI solutions • Opportunity to strengthen accounting processes and create lasting operational improvements • Seattle-based position working alongside a collaborative and experienced finance teamKey Responsibilities for the Accounting Compliance Manager:Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting schedules • Coordinate external audits and support audited financial statement preparation • Manage tax compliance activities, including Form 990, B&O tax reporting, and other regulatory filings • Strengthen internal controls and identify opportunities for process improvement • Support financial systems enhancements, reporting development, and special finance projectsQualifications for the Accounting Compliance Manager:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation • Experience supporting external audits and tax compliance activities • CPA preferred • Nonprofit and/or healthcare industry experience preferred • Experience with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel skills preferred
