RN - MS Tele

Registered Nurse

This position requires a Registered Nurse with a specialty in MedSurg/Tele. The nurse will work on an oncology unit with patients who have cancer diagnoses. Common patient conditions include neoplastic fever, fluid resuscitation needs, and chemotherapy/biotherapy administration. The nurse will handle a patient ratio of 1:4-5. CNA support will be available for ADLs, mobility, and phlebotomy tasks. Required skills include PIV starts, NG tube placement/management, pleurx drains, and chest tube management. The ability to access ports is preferred but not mandatory for this role. The working environment is professional and team-oriented. Travelers may be required to float within designated regions based on staffing needs. Weekend rotations occur every other weekend, with no on-call duties. Travelers will be expected to work 75% of holidays during the contract term. The schedule cycles every six weeks, with shift times of 0645-1915 and 1845-0715. The employee will utilize electronic medical records and various monitoring equipment. Free parking is available for staff members.
