Certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC)
Must-Have: Pediatric and Geriatric Patient Population Experience; Level I Trauma Experience; EPIC Experience


Description:
The CT Technologist performs imaging procedures in an efficient and safe manner.
Customers may include neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, or geriatric patients.
The technologist performs imaging exams and procedures accurately.
Critical thinking skills are applied appropriately.
Emergent situations are recognized and responded to appropriately.
Accurate customer medical records are maintained.
Confidentiality of all medical records is ensured.
Imaging and hospital computer systems are utilized correctly.
Professional interactions occur with physicians, team members, customers, and families.
The technologist has access to medications appropriate for their job duties.
Other duties may be accepted to promote the accomplishment of organizational goals.
The team member is accountable for demonstrating proficiency for the skills outlined in the appropriate position skills list.
Maintaining skill proficiency, including improvement where necessary, is a requirement.
Upgrading any additional or new skills on the appropriate position skills list is expected.
