Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 Hours (07:45 - 16:15) Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Cath Lab License: State License Required Certifications: ACLS (Required), BLS (Required), CCI RCIS (Preferred) Must-Have: Experience with EPIC is Required Experience with patient diagnoses such as AMI, STEMI, NSTEMI, heart arrhythmias, PAD, and PVD Ability to perform specialized skills such as cardiac stent placement and cardioversion Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience and possess essential certifications and skills. This position offers normal business hours. Call is required one night a week and every fourth weekend. The Cath Lab is a diagnostic and PCI Level 2 lab. Responsibilities include performing electrophysiology procedures, device changeouts, upgrades, and vascular angiograms. You will work with specialized equipment, including Impella, IABP, temp pacer, shockwave, DFR, IVUS, and FFR. Candidates should be proficient in monitoring procedural sedation and managing infection prevention. References from two professional sources are required, including at least one from a manager or supervisor. A compact or state nursing license must be held prior to submission.
