As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $18.91 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor credentials in accordance with site requirements. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to established procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns. Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and access-control records while supporting a professional environment for billing and administrative operations. Minimum Requirements Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification are preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
