Job Details Location: Albuquerque, NM 87113 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $12.92 - $16.16 Hourly Shift: Any Category: Resort Position Summary Responsible for providing Guest Services associated with the operation of the Transportation Department and the Valet Department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Delivers the highest level of service while interacting with guests, peers, and other Sandia employees. Travels to assigned destinations, transporting guests to and from the casino, resort, airport, and other approved destinations. Completes a pre‑inspection and records all information on the inspection sheet before departure. Communicates appropriately with the dispatcher and acknowledges all information provided. Acknowledges and follows the set department standard operational procedures. Complies with all traffic regulations. Assists passengers and their baggage; assists in loading and unloading baggage compartments. Reports delays, traffic citations, incidents, and accidents. Advises passengers on safety requirements and reminds guests to remain seated or act in an orderly manner while in the vehicle. Regulates heating, lighting, and ventilation systems for passenger comfort. Makes minor repairs or replacements to vehicles and changes tires when needed. Maintains cleanliness of vehicles. Builds professional relationships with internal and external contacts while maintaining a friendly, approachable demeanor. Ensures punctual and regular attendance; reports to work based on the assigned schedule in accordance with the Attendance Policy for Pueblo Sandia. Additional Responsibilities Performs other job‑related duties as assigned; a quality guest service experience is essential for all team members. Serves as the initial point of contact for guest inquiries in a courteous and attentive manner. Reflects trust, comfort, and understanding by demonstrating empathy when problems occur. Resolves all issues in a timely manner, ensuring guest satisfaction and exceeding expectations. Possesses knowledge and understanding of all products and services offered. Builds relationships with guests based on respect and confidence while maintaining a friendly, approachable demeanor. Key Performance Indicators This position has Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) identified as a measurement of success. KPIs will be shared with all team members in this job title, and feedback will be provided during the performance review process. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of vehicles and use of air brakes. Knowledge of the City of Albuquerque streets, roads, airports, and surrounding areas. Excellent guest service skills. Knowledge of hazards and standard safety practices related to vehicle operation. Knowledge of the resort, casino, and transportation programs’ operations, services, activities, and promotions. Ability to drive in adverse weather conditions. Ability to maintain and update proper certifications. Ability to respond to requests and inquiries from the general public. Transportation Driver Education and Experience Must be at least 25 years of age. High School diploma or GED equivalent required. One (1) year of experience in guest services and/or dealing with the general public. Ability to drive Manual and Automatic Transmission vehicles. Note: Relevant work experience or education may be substituted to satisfy educational and/or work experience requirements. License, Certifications, and Registrations Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted New Mexico Driver’s License. Class B CDL with Passenger endorsement is preferred. Must successfully pass a stringent background investigation. Will require a pre‑employment and random drug screening. Physical Requirements / Working Conditions Balancing – Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling and walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces. Crouching – Bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine. Feeling – Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature, or texture by touching with skin, particularly of fingertips. Finger Dexterity – Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than the whole hand. Grasping – Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm. Hearing – Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction; receiving detailed information through oral communication. Kneeling – Bending legs at the knee to come to a rest on knee or knees. Lifting – Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally (up to 50 lbs.). Pulling – Using upper extremities to exert force to draw, haul, or tug objects in a sustained motion (up to 50 lbs.). Pushing – Using upper extremities to press against something in a steady force to thrust forward, downward, or outward. Reaching – Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. Seeing – Perceiving the nature of objects by the eye. Walking – Includes walking throughout the work area on various surfaces inside and outside. Sitting – Sustained periods of sitting. Standing – Sustained periods of standing. Stooping – Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist; requires significant lower extremity and back muscle use. Talking – Expressing or exchanging ideas by spoken word; conveying detailed or important spoken instructions accurately, loudly, or quickly. Working conditions require visual acuity to operate motor vehicles, indoor and outdoor activities, exposure to temperature extremes, noise requiring shouting to be heard over ambient noise, and hazards such as proximity to moving vehicles, high heat or extreme cold, uneven or inclined surfaces, and various floor types. #J-18808-Ljbffr
