Office Assistant (Typing)

Job Description and Duties

Under the general supervision of the Office Services Supervisor I (OSSI), this position performs a variety of duties including; processing citations and CHP180's, serves as subpoena clerk, processing mail, answering and routing incoming telephone calls, assists customers at the front counter, photocopy and sell miscellaneous reports, serves as area PRA/IPA point of contact, maintain filing system, purge per retention schedule, miscellaneous typing assignments, and provides general support for the the Sonora Area office.

Special Requirements

• The position(s) require(s) the ability to type at a minimum speed as designated on the Class Specifications (link available in the additional documentation section). You must obtain a valid typing certificate confirming your ability to meet the minimum typing speed, prior to being hired. • The position(s) require(s) a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired.
