Behavior Consultant- Unlicensed

J.T. Mummert Consulting, LLC is looking for a part-time Behavior Consultant- Unlicensed to join our Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) Program in the Lock Haven/Williamsport area. The role requires 20+ hours per week. Starting wages are $35.00 per billable hour.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Communicate relevant information to members of the treatment team, including parents, caregivers, teachers, behavioral consultants, Clinical Director, prescribing psychologists, psychiatrists, BHTs, and other collaborating team members. Provide individual, collateral, and family therapy to members based on clinical recommendations and updates from a written order by a qualified individual. Develop and implement the Individual Treatment Plan. Complete monthly treatment summaries for review by the compliance supervisor. Reviews include effectiveness of interventions, data indicating progression/regression, consistency in treatment, and integration with other team members, family, caregivers, school personnel, and community entities. Collaborate with treatment team members to discuss progress relative to goal areas in the treatment plan, complete necessary assessments, and make recommendations for the next service period. If the BC is the lead clinician, gather information and recommendations from school personnel, effectively communicate services between schools and parents, and coordinate with other service providers and agencies. Complete Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) annually and/or update as needed. Adhere to professional and ethical standards. Maintain client records in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations and protect those records. Provide direct mobile therapy services to assigned members as specified in the treatment plan and complete appropriate progress notes and discharge summaries. Provide clinical supervision and ongoing support to BHTs assigned. Exercise a high level of professional conduct when interacting with families, agencies, school personnel, and community entities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology, social work, education, counseling, or a related field. One year of full‑time experience providing mental‑health direct services to children ages 3 to 21 years.
