As part of our Architecture practice at HDR, you’ll contribute to the design and delivery of spaces and experiences that advance community well-being around the world. From healing environments and learning spaces to research labs and civic landmarks and infrastructure, your work will directly influence how individuals experience the world around them. We bring together architects, planners, designers, and technical experts to solve complex design challenges with creativity, curiosity, and collaboration. From championing design excellence with an emphasis on resilience and sustainability to pioneering innovative building technologies, your contributions will leave a lasting impact on the built environment. This isn’t just a job, it’s a chance to drive meaningful change and help define the future of our communities.In the role of Project Controls Specialist, we'll count on you to: Establish WBS, and develop and maintain complex project schedules for various phases of the projectCoordinate with necessary team membersDevelop and monitor project metricsParticipate in project coordination meetingsConduct project site visits if applicableConduct schedule baseline and schedule update reviewsDevelop cost estimatesPerform other duties as needed Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project controls work on engineering and construction projects (or equivalent), preferrably including planning, estimating, forecasting, scheduling, cost control, schedule control, and project reportsCertifications (one or more): PSP, PMP, PE, CM, EVP, PMI-SP, CSTAbility to interpret construction schedules#LI-EV1QualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degreeThe capability to actively progress knowledge in the areas of:Oral and written communication skillsInterpersonal and leadership skillsCoordination and prioritization of multiple long and short-term tasksOrganizational, analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
