Manufacturing Process Technician / Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Process Technician/Engineer to join our team. This hands-on role is responsible for leading manufacturing process improvements, troubleshooting equipment, supporting automation systems, and ensuring production efficiency, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Program and maintain software-based manufacturing equipment, including PLC, CNC, robotics, and automation systems.
• Create and modify mechanical assembly fixtures using CAD software.
• Assemble, test, qualify, and modify computer stitch pallets and stitch programs.
• Perform in-process quality testing to ensure production standards are met.
• Design and execute process validation trials and experiments.
• Assemble and build new or modified production equipment from drawings and specifications.
• Develop training documentation and train production operators on equipment and processes.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for equipment installation, maintenance, and repairs.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and productivity.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing operations.

Qualifications:

• 5–7 years of related manufacturing, engineering, or process improvement experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD or other mechanical CAD software.
• Knowledge of PLC programming, C++, or other programming languages.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment.
• Thorough understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles (required).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CNC machines, robotics, or industrial automation.
• Experience designing fixtures and improving manufacturing processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
