IT Governance Analyst (CMDB & ITAM)

Job Description This role is responsible for supporting technology governance, configuration management, and asset management initiatives across the organization. The individual will monitor CMDB and asset inventory health, identify data quality and compliance gaps, and work closely with technology teams to ensure records remain accurate, complete, and aligned with governance standards. On a daily basis, the analyst will review governance dashboards and reporting, track remediation plans, facilitate governance meetings, and partner with technology owners, asset owners, and operational teams to resolve data quality and inventory issues. They will also help maintain reporting related to CMDB health, asset management, configuration item completeness, lifecycle compliance, and technology risk exposure. Success in this role requires someone who can effectively bridge technology, governance, and operations by driving accountability, monitoring compliance, improving reporting, and ensuring technology asset information remains accurate and actionable across the enterprise. Strong business analysis, stakeholder management, and communication skills with the ability to partner directly with technology owners and drive remediation efforts. Experience reviewing reports and dashboards, performing root cause analysis, and translating findings into actionable recommendations. Ability to manage governance initiatives related to ownership validation, inventory accuracy, compliance reporting, and process improvement. Strong analytical skills with experience using tools such as Power BI, Excel, SQL, Tableau, or similar reporting platforms. Exposure to data reconciliation, inventory validation, duplicate/orphaned asset identification, and data quality management. Experience supporting governance dashboards, KPI reporting, audit readiness, or compliance initiatives. Familiarity with Service Mapping, Discovery tools, cloud inventory management, or technology lifecycle governance processes. #J-18808-Ljbffr Insight Global
