If you have a passion for working with seniors and possess the creativity and professionalism to develop impactful programs, we invite you to become a vital part of our community.Key Responsibilities:Develop, plan, and implement engaging recreational activities tailored to residents with memory impairments and dementia.Assess residents' interests, abilities, and needs to create personalized activity plans.Foster a positive and stimulating environment that encourages socialization, cognitive engagement, and physical activity.Collaborate with staff, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure activities support residents' overall well-being.Monitor and document residents' participation and progress in activities.Maintain a safe, clean, and organized activity space.Stay informed about best practices and innovative approaches in memory care activities.Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience working with seniors, particularly those with memory loss or dementia.Strong knowledge of recreational therapy principles and activity programming.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Creative, energetic, and compassionate with a genuine passion for elder care.Ability to assess individual needs and adapt activities accordingly.Certification in recreational therapy, activity coordination, or related field preferred.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.At Grand Villa of Englewood, we foster a warm, supportive environment that values growth, innovation, and compassion.
