Job Overview

Nexiya is seeking a motivated, collaborative, and technology-savvy professional with strong communication, relationship-building, analytical, and continuous improvement skills for a contract  Data Analyst I (Technology Adoption & Sustainment)position supporting a Utilities client in their Kearny Mesa office.

This position serves as the bridge between technology and the business, ensuring enterprise solutions are successfully adopted, supported, and continuously improved after deployment. The Business Technology Analyst I partners with business users, project teams, and technology stakeholders to drive user adoption, coordinate training and communications, support solution deployment, monitor system performance and usage, and identify opportunities to improve business processes and the overall user experience.

This is  primarily a Business Technology / Adoption & Sustainment Analyst role , rather than a traditional Data Analyst position.

Job Functions:

• Serve as the primary liaison between business users and technology teams to support successful adoption and sustainment of enterprise technology solutions.
• Monitor solution adoption, usage, and performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Analyze business processes, identify user pain points, and recommend process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and user experience.
• Coordinate and support solution deployments, including user readiness activities and post-implementation support.
• Develop and coordinate user training sessions, communications, and change management activities to encourage successful technology adoption.
• Serve as the frontline business support resource and escalation point for user questions, issues, and system-related requests.
• Support user access management activities, including provisioning, modifications, and access validation.
• Participate in system testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), documenting defects, validating fixes, and supporting production readiness.
• Provide Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) support for AI chatbot solutions by reviewing responses, identifying improvement opportunities, and escalating issues when appropriate.
• Monitor Microsoft Teams channels during and after solution deployments to identify user questions, recurring issues, and additional support needs.
• Maintain project documentation, standard operating procedures, knowledge articles, user guides, and other knowledge management resources.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate solution adoption, usage, and operational performance to business stakeholders.
• Assist with collecting, validating, interpreting, and analyzing operational and business data to support decision-making and process improvements.
• Coordinate project meetings with internal and external stakeholders and prepare meeting agendas, action items, and follow-up documentation.
• Support cross-functional project teams with administrative, operational, and coordination activities as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Education / Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college coursework required; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Organizational Change Management, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years of professional experience supporting business operations, technology enablement, digital transformation, business systems, project coordination, customer support, or a related field.
• Experience supporting enterprise software implementations, technology adoption initiatives, or business process improvement efforts preferred.
• Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system testing, or software validation activities preferred.
• Experience coordinating training, communications, or change management activities is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends, interpret business needs, and recommend practical solutions.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build relationships across technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to issue resolution and stakeholder support.
• Experience using Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot or similar AI technologies is highly desirable.
• Experience with reporting dashboards and data visualization tools such as Power BI is preferred.
• Familiarity with access management systems, knowledge management platforms, and enterprise collaboration tools is preferred.
• Experience supporting conversational AI, chatbot platforms, or Human-in-the-Loop AI workflows is a plus.
• Experience within the utility, energy, technology enablement, digital transformation, operations, customer service, project management, or enterprise software environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to successfully pass the background screening process.

Pay Range:

Minimum: $30.00/hour

Maximum: $38.00/hour
