Our Burnsville Carefree Living community is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing to lead our growing Assisted Living and Memory Care campus. Wage: Negotiable based on experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm based on the needs of the facility
(An outside after-hours triage service is provided to support our communities.)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide clinical leadership and oversight for Assisted Living and Memory Care operations

Ensure quality resident care and regulatory compliance through guidance and support of nursing staff

Lead assessments, care planning, case management, and nursing processes in accordance with MDH regulations

Meet with residents and families to support admissions, care conferences, and ongoing communication

Monitor prior authorizations, funding sources, and documentation accuracy to ensure timely billing and compliance

Supervise and mentor nursing staff while promoting accountability, teamwork, and professional development

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and implement processes that support exceptional outcomes

Develop and maintain strong relationships with referral partners, community resources, and healthcare providers

Support census growth, operational goals, and overall community success

Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, operational planning, and clinical strategy

QUALIFICATIONS:

Current RN licensure in the State of Minnesota

Assisted Living or senior care leadership experience preferred

CPR/BLS certification required

Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Passion for working with seniors and building strong teams

Experience with electronic documentation systems and Microsoft Office

Valid Driver's License in good standing with ability to travel as needed

Ability to meet physical requirements and pass DHS background study
