As a Stepdown Registered Nurse, you'll be working in a dynamic setting that combines PCU and Med/Tele beds, with patient ratios typically 1:5, adjusted for acuity. The facility strives to provide blocked scheduling whenever possible, ensuring you have a predictable work-life balance. Your role will involve delivering high-quality care to patients who require close monitoring and specialized nursing interventions.

• Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown unit, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Monitor and assess patients, documenting changes and communicating with the healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate patient records using the MEDITECH charting system
• Need 2 years experience in setting
• Must have at least 1 year of experience in PCU in the last 3 years
• Active RN license required at submission
• AHA BLS certification required
