Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's healthcare facility in Providence Village, TX

Job Details:
Schedule: M-F 8am - 5 pm
Location: Providence Village, TX
Job Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Pay Range: $22/hr- $23.40/hr
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:

• Room and prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints.
• Assist physicians, APCs, and nurses during patient examinations and minor procedures.
• Administer medications and injections within the Medical Assistant scope of practice.
• Perform venipuncture, capillary blood collection, and non-invasive specimen collection.
• Conduct EKGs and operate diagnostic equipment (without interpreting results).

Requirements:

• Education: High School
• License(s):
• Certification(s): Medical Assistant, BLS
• Years of experience: 1-2 years
