- # HVAC Engineering Technician II (Crew 1)Applylocations: Tulsa, OKtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted 8 Days Agojob requisition id: JR102091**Job Description:****Job Summary:** Conducts experiments, tests, and assembles prototypes, analyzes data to support the development and improvement of products.**Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:*** Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.* Provide technical support to engineers and other team members in research, development, testing, and maintenance activities* Conduct complex tests, experiments, and validation procedures on equipment, systems, and components, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and compliance with specifications.* Analyze and interpret test data, identifying trends, anomalies, and correlations to provide actionable insights and recommendations to the engineering team.* Utilize advanced troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth project progression.* Manage and maintain advanced technical equipment, instrumentation, and laboratory facilities, ensuring proper functioning and calibration to support engineering activities.* Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and presentations summarizing test procedures, results, and conclusions for internal review.* Implement and maintain quality control procedures and standards throughout the engineering process, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.* Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, scientists, technicians, and project managers, fostering a collaborative work environment, and sharing technical expertise.* Identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiency enhancements, and cost savings in engineering operations.* Ability to locate diagrams and drawings independently within the AAON database.**Education and Experience Requirements:**Degree(s): Associate’s Degree in HVACLicense(s): EPA 608 and A2L certificationCertification(s): None* Two-year HVAC degree from a technical school* Recommended 4-6 years in the HVAC industry or equivalent experience in a similar industry.* Education or experience beyond the minimum is an added advantage for career development.**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:*** Demonstrates leadership abilities.* Communicates effectively in written and spoken form.* Possesses excellent interpersonal relationship skills.* Possesses excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.* Exhibits good decision making and analytical problem solving abilities.* Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills.**Work Environment:*** Works effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure, team environment.* Works in lab and shop with periodical visits to the office.* Facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.* Lift up to 50 lbs., climbing, stooping, sitting, or standing for prolonged periods.**Disclaimer:**Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
