GCP architecture (IAM, VPC, GKE, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, Dataflow), cloud migration, Terraform/Deployment Manager/gcloud CLI, Python/Bash scripting, cloud security & governance, HA/DR design, and team leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years in IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, or cloud architecture.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and deploying solutions on GCP.
- Strong expertise with major GCP services: IAM, VPC, Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud SQL, Dataflow, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, etc.
- Proficiency in automation and scripting (Python, Bash, gcloud CLI).
- In-depth understanding of cloud security, governance, identity management, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience leading technical teams and collaborating with offshore or distributed teams.
- Google Cloud certifications , ideally Professional Cloud Architect.
- Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices , CI/CD pipelines, and modern deployment tooling.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF .
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
