Group Home Manager $54,996.00 per year A Day in the Life of the House Manager As a house manager you overseeing adult aged residents at your particular group home, making sure they are properly cared for, safe and happy. As a house manager you will work collaboratively with the Director of Residential Services, staff, nurse consultants, DDS case managers, behavior consultants and others to aid in implementing the individual plans of the residents. You will work with families, parents & guardians to ensure they know their family member at our group home is living a happy, rewarding and meaningful life. This is an incredibly rewarding position for the right person. You would have the opportunity to make a lasting impact and lead a team that does all it can to assist the residents in living the life they choose & be instrumental in making their house a home. Qualifications for the Job Bachelor's degree in related field & one year of experience OR A combination of education and experience which in the judgement of the hiring body, meets the qualification standards ensuring satisfactory job performance Supervising experience Active Driver's License Previous experience working in a group home setting with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities Strong multitasker Compassion and ability to see the potential in everyone Positivity and a team-player attitude Schedule 8 hour shift Monday-Friday, rotating on-call duties.
