CNC OPERATOR
Charlottesville, VA 22911
On-site
Join a skilled Machine Shop team and build precision parts used in medical devices.
- Operate CNC machines and produce precision parts
- Read blueprints and follow work instructions
- Load materials and CNC programs
- Start up machines and make minor adjustments
- Use micrometers and calipers to inspect parts
- Perform deburring, polishing, and metal finishing
- Check parts for quality, appearance, and accuracy
- Keep your work area clean, safe, and organized
- Work with a small, hands-on team
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
You don't have to be an expert. We're looking for someone with:
- Some CNC machining experience or training
- Blueprint reading skills
- Micrometer and caliper experience
- Basic CNC machine operation experience
- Mechanical aptitude
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Medical-device experience is NOT required.
CNC programming is NOT required.
Manual machining experience is welcome if you're ready to learn CNC.
- 4-day workweek
- 10-hour shifts
- Friday overtime available when needed
- Work with new CNC equipment
- Learn and grow your machining skills
- Small, experienced Machine Shop team
- Build precision components used in medical devices
