Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer

Abbott seeks a Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer for its Tipp City, Ohio nutrition facility. The role involves implementing and maintaining plant equipment, managing capital projects, and providing technical support for manufacturing operations while ensuring compliance with FDA and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain plant equipment, systems, and fixed assets to safety and quality standards
• Manage capital projects from planning through validation and production release
• Provide engineering support for new product introductions, equipment startups, and process optimization
• Conduct technical training for plant personnel including operators, electricians, and technicians
• Monitor production operations, identify improvement areas, and respond to manufacturing issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
• 5+ years of engineering, project management, or equivalent advanced experience
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Advanced technical knowledge and problem-solving skills in engineering disciplines
• Proven leadership capabilities and cross-functional collaboration experience
• FDA and manufacturing industry experience preferred
