Residential Support StaffLocation: 241 Greenhouse Road, Lexington, VA Employer: Rockbridge Area Community Services (RACS)Group Home Locations: Lexington and Buena Vista, VAPosition Overview: As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will:Provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, meals, and light housekeepingOffer encouragement and support to help individuals live as independently as possibleEngage residents in fun recreational activities and community outingsComplete daily documentation and ensure compliance with care plansAdminister medications as needed (training provided)Be a part of a dynamic, mission-driven team that makes a lasting impact every day!Qualifications:High school graduate/GED preferred.Experience working with adults that have developmental disabilities requiredCNA experience desired but not requiredStrong communication, documentation, and organizational skillsEnergetic, positive, enthusiastic, and adaptable problem solverMust be 18+ with valid driver's license and safe driving recordWhy Join RACS?Rockbridge Area Community Services strives to impact our local community through innovative behavioral health, substance use and developmental services.
