Part-time evenings and every other weekend Responsible to Dietary Manager Job summary Serve the Residents meals Set and clear tables Take food temps and fridge/freezer temps Wash dishes, put dishes away General cleaning Make coffee, pour water, milk, and juices Answer call lights when needed Sweep floors Take out garbages Physical Demands and Environment Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, walk, and stand throughout the day May occasionally lift or move items of up to 50 lbs May be exposed to hot/cold temperatures in the kitchen/storage areas Noise level may be above normal in the work environment Subject to falls, cuts, and burns from equipment and hot foods, infectious disease, odors, etc throughout the work day Subject to frequent interruptions Must be able to taste, smell, and hear Ability to meet and deal tactfully and courteously with fellow employees, residents, and families Minimum education, training, and experience required Must have cooking experience other than at home.
