Service Manager – Gjusta

Gjusta is seeking an experienced hospitality leader as we continue to develop our service and management structure.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys leading a busy floor, developing people, and creating a welcoming guest experience. The Service Manager works closely with our management leadership team, operations, culinary, and beverage teams to support daily service and consistent standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily service with a strong presence on the floor.

• Maintain standards for hospitality, cleanliness, organization, and service.

• Recruit, train, coach, and develop front-of-house employees.

• Support scheduling, staffing coverage, timekeeping, and labor expectations.

• Lead pre-shifts, product education, and service training.

• Build guest relationships and resolve concerns thoughtfully.

• Support catering, online orders, events, and seasonal offerings.

• Coordinate with other departments on products, service priorities, and team communication.

• Partner with Leadership team and HR on employee performance and development.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hospitality experience, including previous FOH management experience.

• Experience in a high-volume cafe or restaurant.

• Strong communication, organization, judgment, and follow-through.

• A collaborative leadership style and enthusiasm for hospitality.

• Weekend and holiday availability.

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
