Your Role: As an Acute Respiratory Therapist, you will provide critical care to patients experiencing both chronic and acute respiratory conditions. Your responsibilities will include administering respiratory therapies, managing ventilators, performing diagnostic tests, and collaborating with physicians to develop personalized treatment plans. You'll also be responsible for educating patients and their families on respiratory health management, ensuring the best long-term care outcomes.
Qualifications: To be considered for this role, candidates must have a degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program and hold a current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification through the NBRC. A valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in Maryland is required. Acute care experience is preferred, though new graduates with a passion for providing exceptional patient care are encouraged to apply. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are vital for success in this role.
