Senior DevOps EngineerAs a Senior DevOps Engineer with cloud infrastructure experience, your primary responsibility will be designing, implementing, and maintaining robust DevOps pipelines using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This will include optimizing deployment processes, ensuring system reliability, and collaborating with development and operations teams. Strong skills in automation, CI/CD, infrastructure as code (IaC), and OCI services like Compute, Networking, and Identity are essential. Additionally, you will be tasked with continuous improvement initiatives, monitoring, and troubleshooting to enhance overall system performance and resilience. The mission is to support the project team by providing infrastructure, resources, and tools that allows the team to automate, develop, self-service and experiment. The Sr DevOps Engineer will also help drive continuous improvement in our software development life cycle by improving our release processes, enhancing our tooling, and driving automation.Keywords: DevOps Kubernetes CI/CD PipelinesSupport Engineering and Platform automation efforts with development and scripting skills. Automate operational processes using scripting languages. Develop, implement, and continually improve system and network monitoring and alerting capabilities and procedures. Identify and solve problems related to performance, scalability, reliability, and availability. Implement/maintain Cloud security guidelines and best practices. Work with Oracle OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure), AWS and Azure Products & Services, Relational and NoSQL Databases, Object and Block Storage, Scaling, Load Balancing, DNS, Networking etc. Maintains document and diagram workflows and environments and communicate changes both verbally and in writing. Works with project teams to employ best practices in source control, continuous integration and delivery.Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in computer science, management information science or equivalent. 7+ years of experience within DevOps. 3 years of experience with container-based platforms. (Docker, Kubernettes) Experience automating operation workloads on OCI or AWS. Experience working with at least one of following languages: Python, Java, or Ruby. A working understanding of CI /CD tools and pipelines. Experience working in an Agile, fast paced, DevOps environment. Basic Linux skills and windows administration skills. A working understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing and firewalls Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate technical issues to nontechnical and technical audiences. Must be able to sit and use a computer keyboard for extended periods of time. Occasional after-hours/weekend work required when necessary to meet client or project deliverables.
