Ongoing laborist coverage supporting a hospital-based OB/GYN practice

Rhino Medical is seeking an experienced OB/GYN physician for ongoing locum tenens laborist coverage supporting a community hospital in Fargo, North Dakota. The position primarily involves labor and delivery, postpartum care, cesarean sections, and VBACs within a well-equipped hospital setting.

This opportunity offers providers the flexibility of 2-3 scheduled 24-hour shifts per month, with at least 24 hours of rest between shifts, and a preference for weekday coverage. Providers will enjoy a supportive practice environment featuring 16 labor and delivery rooms, one dedicated OB operating room, and a monthly delivery volume of approximately 120 cases. Physicians will retain the option to stay at a hotel until called in, facilitating a balanced on-call schedule.

Clinical Scope

• Labor and delivery management
• Postpartum care
• Cesarean sections (C-sections)
• Vaginal births after cesarean (VBACs)
• Experience working with midwives preferred

Requirements

• Active MD license in North Dakota
• Board certified in OB/GYN (ABMS or AOA)
• Credentialing to be completed prior to start
• Comfortable working with midwives
• No orientation rate exceeding 60% of hourly rate
