Job Description – Travel RN | Electrophysiology (EP) Lab | Days

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab . This is a 4x10-hour day shift position with low-volume call responsibilities. The RN will assist with a wide range of cardiac electrophysiology procedures while providing exceptional patient care in a highly specialized procedural setting.

Schedule:

• 4x10-Hour Days
• Monday–Friday
• 07:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• ASAP Start Preferred

Call Requirements:

• One week of weekday call every two months (6:30 PM–7:00 AM following scheduled shift)
• One weekend of 24-hour call every two months
• Call volume is generally low
• Most call-ins involve pacemaker cases lasting approximately 2 hours

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Electrophysiology (EP) Lab RN experience
• First-time travelers accepted
• Experience assisting with complex cardiac electrophysiology procedures
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)

Required Skills:

• Electrophysiology (EP) Lab nursing
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation and continuous monitoring
• Pre-, intra-, and post-procedure patient care
• Moderate sedation monitoring
• Sterile technique and procedural assistance
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and emergency response skills
• Accurate documentation in Epic
