Tax Associate

Location: Redmond Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Tax Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in tax principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. This role involves working closely with clients to ensure compliance with tax regulations and to provide strategic tax planning to optimize financial performance. Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Conduct thorough research on complex tax issues and regulations to ensure compliance and identify tax-saving opportunities.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current tax laws and changes in legislation.
- Provide support during tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
- Assist in preparing tax provision calculations and related financial statement disclosures.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and support.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or progress towards CPA certification is preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in tax preparation or public accounting is desired.
- Proficiency in tax preparation software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
