This travel assignment is for a Registered Nurse on a medical-surgical telemetry unit in Kealakekua, Hawaii. Start date is 08/31/2026 for a 13-week contract. Shifts are rotating 12-hour blocks (7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.). Weekly pay ranges from $2,254 to $2,399 per week. Guaranteed hours are not guaranteed. You will provide direct patient care for adult med-surg telemetry patients, collaborating with the care team to support safe, high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to adult patients on a medical-surgical telemetry unit, including frequent assessments and monitoring.
- Administer medications, initiate IV therapy, and manage lines and drains as appropriate.
- Interpret telemetry data, respond to changes in patient condition, and escalate concerns per protocols.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team; coordinate discharge planning and patient education.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record and ensure compliance with patient safety and infection control standards.

Requirements
- Active Hawaii RN license or eligibility to obtainlicensure in Hawaii
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience in medical-surgical telemetry or a comparable acute care setting preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts and adapt to unit needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to function in a fast-paced environment
