Founding Engineer Opportunity
A venture-backed bespoke technology platform for accounting firms looking to streamline and automate their client engagements is hiring. Our software helps firms of all sizes complete client engagements efficiently and effectively. Based in the Bay Area but we are a remote-first company.
The company is founded by product, accounting and engineering leaders with extensive software experience from companies like Apple, Netflix, Deloitte and BlackLine. We are passionate about using technology to improve the accounting profession and make the lives of accountants easier.

Who You Are
We are looking for an experienced engineer to join our growing engineering team as a Founding Engineer. As an early member of the team, you'll have the opportunity to influence engineering, culture, product roadmap, architecture and strategy. You will work directly with the CEO, CTO, and other engineers to influence every aspect of the platform.
You will be a great fit if you:

Requirements
- 5+ years experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- Fluency in Typescript, Javascript, React, PostgreSQL
- Good product intuition and user empathy
- Solid engineering fundamentals and passion for high quality code
- Strong communication skills
