General/Non-Invasive Cardiologist MNPG - $100K sign-on Bonus

Mount Nittany Health is recruiting a skilled, board-certified/board-eligible general cardiologist to meet the community need! Join a well-established, employed group of eight physicians and seven physician assistants. Located in State College, PA, Mount Nittany Medical Center is a 260-bed acute care facility with a new, state-of-the-art bed tower opening in the fall of 2026 which will make all of the med/surg rooms fully private. This is an opportunity to join a strong, independent health system that offers all of the luxuries of a college townincluding short commutes, NCAA sports, arts, high-quality schools, and outdoor recreation abounds with beautiful hiking and biking trails. Community-based medicine is a plus! The physician will be provided a robust recruitment package.

The Position:

• Full time; inpatient/outpatient; cardiology consult hospital coverage (no IP hospital CV service, just consultation)
• Three general cardiologists, two interventional cardiologists, two electrophysiologists, and six cardiology physician assistants
• Call is 1:5
• Device clinic for pacer and cardiac implant patients
• One cath lab
• One vascular/EP lab
• One cardiac CT (expected early 2027)
• Five special procedure roomstwo vascular and three echo rooms on site and two echo rooms at outreach locations
• EMR: Epic (as of May 30, 2026)
• One vascular surgeon and one vascular physician assistant share cardiology practice space

Compensation Package:

Competitive base salary + wRVU production incentive

CME allowance

Sign-on bonus - $100k
