Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic procedures, and creating tailored care plans
• Diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic conditions either in partnership with physicians or independently, depending on your qualifications
• Informing patients and their families about prevention strategies, overall wellness, and effective disease management

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Licenses and Certifications Required

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Florida
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty credential
