LTCR Trust Fund Administrative Assistant III - Starting Market Rate Salary $43,197.72

Provides complex technical and administrative support to the Trust Fund Monitoring Unit Manager and other Trust Fund Monitoring staff. Interacts with various other HHS staff. Performs administrative duties to include answering the telephone, refers callers to appropriate staff, takes messages, answers basicquestions, processes staff travel requests, reconciles the unit credit card statements, processes incoming and outgoing mail, and maintains staff inventory lists and personnel rosters. The position also completes and distributes office supplies, participates in planning and preparing for staff meetings, assists with new employee onboarding, maintains the FedEx account, prints and disburses FedEx labels to staff, and participates in special projects.

Essential Job Functions (EJFs):

Maintains a regular and predictable work schedule.

Knowledge of maintaining records, files, or logs (for example, administrative, personnel, contract, correspondenceforms, documents, purchasing, inventory of issues equipment, supplies, staff rosters, case files, tracking logs, files/documents on diskette) including filing, retrieving, or purging.

Communicates with others (internally and externally) to provide, exchange, or verify information, answer inquiries, address issues, or resolve problems or complaints.

Process staff travel requests, incoming and outgoing mail, ARTs requests, and FedEx requests and invoices.

Maintain Centrally Billed Accounting card (CBA).

Pack and ship up to 20 lb. packages.

Other duties as assigned.

High school or GED graduate; some college preferred.

Additional Information:

This position requires 25% travel. Ability to travel occasionally for activities such as out-of-town meetings or training sessions. Maintains a regular and predictable work schedule.
