Precision Care Surgery Center in East Setauket, NY is looking for a full time Pre-Admissions LPN. As a Pre-admission nurse or PAT nurse, your duties include performing an interview with the patient to obtain their medical history. Pay will be based on experience.
Job Duties include:
- Educates patients on surgical procedures.
- Records patients’ medical information and vital signs.
- Initiate’s patient education plan, as prescribed by physician.
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skill to provide nursing care to the patient
- Performs job tasks to ensure personal, patient, and departmental safety
- Communicates effectively and professionally with internal and external customers
- Functions in an organized and time conscious manner
Qualifications
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION
- Currently holds an LPN license for the state of NY.
- BLS Certification is required
- ASC experience preferred.
EDUCATION
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
