We're looking for a Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) to support our External Mortgage Loan Officers by delivering exceptional service, coordinating loan activities, and helping borrowers navigate the mortgage process from application through closing.

If you're highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy building relationships while keeping multiple priorities moving forward, this could be a great opportunity for you! ***This position begins as a fully onsite role to support training, onboarding, and relationship-building with the team. After 6 months, crewmembers become eligible for hybrid work.***

Your Role in Our Mission:

• Support borrowers throughout the mortgage application process and provide timely updates on loan status.
• Collect, review, and organize loan documentation to ensure complete and accurate loan files.
• Prepare disclosures and maintain accurate records within loan origination systems.
• Coordinate with processors, underwriters, title companies, appraisers, insurance providers, and other internal and external partners.
• Monitor loan pipelines and proactively assist in keeping loans on track to meet closing deadlines.
• Review loan files for completeness and compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
• Respond to borrower inquiries and provide exceptional service throughout the lending process.
• Assist Mortgage Loan Officers in managing daily activities and achieving production goals.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy while handling sensitive financial information.
• Support efficient loan origination and closing activities through strong communication and follow-through.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

• Previous experience in mortgage lending, loan processing, loan origination support, banking, financial services, or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of mortgage loan documentation and lending processes preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service mindset with a commitment to delivering an outstanding borrower experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mortgage loan origination systems preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external business partners.
