About the Position

Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience required License: Valid state nursing license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Required experience with charting system - Trauma Level II experience Description: Emergency Room Registered Nurse needed. Must have current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications. Every other weekend commitment required. Five years of experience required as per management. Patient ratio during shifts is typically 4:1. Experience with Epic charting system is necessary. Required skills include management of ventilated patients and IV vasopressor therapy. Candidates should be skilled in interpreting dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases. Experience in procedural sedation administration and monitoring is needed. The unit supports a variety of patient age groups, from neonates to geriatrics. Daily census averages between 50 to 70 patients.
