Position Summary

We are seeking dependable General Labor Team Members to support production, material handling, forklift, and fabrication operations in a manufacturing environment. Depending on the assignment, responsibilities may include operating production equipment, moving materials with a forklift, assisting with fabrication processes, inspecting finished products, and performing general labor duties. Previous manufacturing or equipment experience is preferred, but training may be available for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily production, fabrication, and material handling operations.
• Operate machinery and production equipment according to work instructions and safety procedures.
• Safely operate a forklift to move, load, unload, and stage materials as assigned.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and maintaining organized work areas.
• Use hand tools and small power tools to support fabrication and production activities.
• Read and follow work instructions, production specifications, and basic blueprints when required.
• Measure materials and finished products using tape measure and other basic measuring tools.
• Monitor equipment during operation and report malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Assist with material inventory and cycle counts as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all required safety and PPE procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, fabrication, or production experience preferred.
• Forklift experience or certification is a plus for material-handling assignments.
• Experience with machinery, machine setup, hand tools, or small power tools is preferred.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and productivity.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and frequently bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and lift.
• Willingness to work extended hours or overtime as required.

Work Environment

• This is a hands-on manufacturing position that may involve working around machinery, metal materials, forklifts, tools, and production equipment.
• Employees are expected to follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE, including eye, hand, foot, and hearing protection as applicable to the assigned work area.

Schedule & Compensation

• 1st and 2nd shift opportunities available
• $17.00 - $18.50 per hour, depending on assignment and shift
