Basic Purpose The Candidate Engagement Specialist is responsible for attracting, evaluating, and securing highly qualified candidates efficiently, ensuring optimal staffing levels that align with client needs and maintaining a pipeline of qualified candidates to support the company’s growth and reputation in a competitive market. Essential Functions Leverage targeted marketing and outreach strategies to connect with experienced candidates. Highlight competitive pay, benefits, assignment variety, company reputation, and expansive support to appeal to candidates. Determine experience, education, active licensure, and active certifications. Develop a database of pre‑qualified candidates for various regions and periods of the school year. Use Symplr CTM and Bullhorn tools to nurture relationships with potential candidates. Use external database platforms to mine and engage with potential leads. Work closely with recruiters and account managers to understand school and state requirements. Ensure candidates meet specialty skills and licensure needs promptly. Track handoffs and complete follow‑up within 60 minutes. Create files and document work history with gaps explained. Complete SPIN call documentation and upload references, education, and certifications. Establish date of availability, caseload preferences, and travel or local assignment details. Handoff to support team and align to recruiter receiving. Complete hot handoff sheet and set follow‑up tasks for scheduled calls. Track daily leadership engagement and weekly submission metrics. Qualifications / Education 1 year of sourcing/recruiting experience; 2+ years preferred. 1 year of office experience. Strong computer and technological skills using Microsoft Office and recruitment software/tools. High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
