The role is primarily remote but will involve collaborative participation with healthcare teams both virtually and occasionally in our outpatient office. You will enjoy a regular workweek from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.   • Conduct comprehensive assessments for senior clients to evaluate mental health needs and determine individualized treatment plans.

  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to form holistic care plans tailored to our geriatric patients’ unique needs.

  • Deliver specialized grief and loss counseling to individuals and families navigating end-of-life issues, providing a safe space for emotional expression and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on elderly individuals grappling with various mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and adjustment disorders related to aging. You will support clients as they confront the complexities of life's transitions, managing grief and loss, and improving their emotional resilience. Your efforts will be pivotal in ensuring seniors receive the compassion and care they need to enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

  • Active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification in Washington state.

  • A minimum of four years of direct experience in mental health counseling with a focus on senior care and related challenges.

  • Familiarity with evidence-based approaches and methodologies specifically tailored for the elderly population.

  • Outstanding communication skills, able to connect empathetically with diverse older adults and their families.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus.
