This role requires expertise in managing typical step-down patients in an acute care setting, with responsibilities including the titration of drips and reading telemetry strips. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Stepdown - Travel

• Manage a patient ratio of 1:3 in an 18-bed Intermediate Care Unit (IMU)
• Care for patients with diagnoses such as post-MI with sheath pull, ADHS, postop vascular, GI bleed, and DKA
• Titrate drips including Nitroglycerine, Neo, and Cardene
• Perform telemetry monitoring and interpret strips for all patients
• Collaborate with charge nurse and house supervisor to ensure optimal care
• Ensure adherence to dress code of royal scrubs with appropriate undershirts

Requirements of the RN - Stepdown - Travel

• Valid RN license to practice in Bridgeport, WV
• ACLS and BLS certifications, NIHSS certification
• Experience with stepdown care and titrating medication drips
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
