Driver PositionThe role of Driver is to ensure 100% guest satisfaction by operating the courtesy shuttle to provide transportation to and from local destinations for our guests.Hourly (Part Time):Hourly Wage: $15.50 plus tipsBenefits When You Make It Your Choice:1st of the month following 30 days of service:401(k) Retirement PlanEmployee Assistance Program90 Days:Paid Vacation and Sick Time8 Paid HolidaysPaid Bereavement1 Year:Paid Floating HolidaysKey Responsibilities:Operates Hotel Shuttle ServiceEnsure a delightful, seamless arrival and departure for our guests.Greets guest and welcomes to hotel cityKeeps current on hotel services and local attractions to answer guest questions and promote hotel services.Handles all guest complaints, comments, observations and challenges in a timely manner to effectively achieve full guest satisfactionDrives shuttle to pick-up and drop-off guests to local destinations on a by request or schedule basisFollows airport procedures and shuttle traffic rules to pick up and drop off guestsLogs trips and retains fuel receipts in accordance with hotel processLoads and unloads guest luggage from shuttle, using cart and transporting to guest room when requiredKeeps in contact with the front office and other drivers through provided radio equipment to keep hotel informed of status and locationCompletes other duties to assist hotelCleans and maintains lobby area when not operating shuttle, including but not limited to; cart cleaning and polishing, washing front windows, stocking newspapersAssists in other departments as shuttle schedule allows, wearing provided radio to keep in contact with front deskAssists in arranging taxi or other transportation service for guests traveling outside shuttle's service areaKeeps shuttle fueled and reports maintenance issues to engineering for prompt repair arrangementPicks up needed materials locally for departments when orders or other shipping arrangements cannot be made.Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing the Radisson experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations.Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest service and experienceListens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problemsProvides Yes I Can! genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basisAssumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest SatisfactionPerforms other duties required to provide the service brand behavior and genuine hospitalityRequirement/Skills:Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skillsCommitment to exceptional guest serviceAbility to maintain a positive and professional attitudeAdhere to the policies and procedures of the hotelAdhere to safe driving practices and traffic lawAbility to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekendsState Driver's License with no restrictions that prevent operating hotel shuttle.Ability to clear all necessary airport certification requirements to operation shuttle in airportPhysical Demands:Ability to sit or stand for entire shiftAble to drive for long periods of time, frequently stopping and getting into and out of a vehicleFrequent walking while liftingAbility to lift up to 70 poundsThe hotel business functions seven days a week, 24 hours a day. All associates must realize this fact and be aware that at all times it may be necessary to move associates from their accustomed shift and alter assigned duties as business dictates.
