Location: Client Site - Large Flooring Manufacturer Pay Rate: $16.25/hour Schedule: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM -3:00 PM
About the Role: We are seeking detail-oriented Pickers/Packer to join our dynamic team at a prominent flooring manufacturer. As a vital part of our logistics team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our products are accurately picked, packed, and shipped to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work environment.
- Efficiently pack incoming stock, conduct inventory checks, and report shortages.
- Accurately keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Pick orders as directed by management, ensuring the highest quality standards.
- Seal and tag containers, verifying order accuracy and signing pick tickets.
- Attach correct shipping information and transfer completed orders to the shipping area.
- Secure containers on pallets using stretch wrap, shrink wrap, and strapping.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 months experience in picking and packing within a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
- Ability to stand, squat, and bend for extended periods.
- Capability to lift weights up to 50 pounds.
