Food Services Supervisor
Job Summary:
At Springvale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Services Supervisor to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our dietary team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of food services to our residents and patients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage a busy food service environment.
About the Food Services Supervisor Role:
As a Food Services Supervisor at Springvale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department. This includes managing a team of dietary staff, coordinating menu planning and food preparation, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment.
Food Services Supervisor Responsibilities:
• Supervise dietary staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest quality of food service
• Coordinate menu planning and food preparation to meet the dietary needs of our residents and patients
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized dining environment
• Manage food inventory and ordering, minimizing waste and optimizing costs
• Develop and implement effective policies and procedures for food service operations
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and integration
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure continuous improvement of food service operations
Food Services Supervisor Requirements:
• Previous experience in food service management or a related field
