About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week full-time contract in the Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) department. This role is based in a modern healthcare facility in rural Northeast Oregon and involves working closely with a small nursing team and an on-site Hospitalist.

The RN will provide comprehensive care to both adult and pediatric patients, requiring strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg patients (adult and pediatric)
• Collaborate with physicians, hospitalists, and interdisciplinary teams
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications/treatments
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Adapt to floating assignments within qualified departments as needed
• Work scheduled shifts, including every other weekend

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience (in Med/Surg)
• Active Oregon (OR) RN License
• Current certifications:
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
