Entry Level Staff Accountant

Key Responsibilities Financial reporting: preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). A/P & A/R processing: performing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and administrative functions for the corporate entity in accordance with established policies, procedures, and controls. Month‑end and year‑end close: assisting with the accurate and timely completion of month‑end and year‑end closing procedures. Account reconciliation and analysis: reconciling sub‑ledger to general ledger accounts, analyzing financial records, and resolving discrepancies. Journal entries: preparing and reviewing journal entries to ensure proper recording of financial transactions. Audits and compliance: supporting internal and external audits, including maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. Requirements Education: associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Experience: 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles. Technical accounting expertise: strong understanding of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards and regulations. Communication skills: excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with colleagues, management, and external stakeholders. Attention to detail: meticulous approach to reviewing financial statements and ensuring accuracy.
