Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing facility in Springfield, IL. This position is ideal for a skilled maintenance professional with extensive CNC repair experience who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machines and production equipment
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Troubleshoot equipment failures to minimize downtime
Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Repair and maintain motors, conveyors, machine tools, and other manufacturing equipment
Complete maintenance documentation and communicate equipment issues
Work independently and collaborate with production and maintenance teams

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of CNC repair experience required
Previous industrial maintenance experience required
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, conveyors, and machine tools preferred
Mazak machine maintenance experience is highly preferred
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
